Lola's Tea Party
The Exorcist (1973)
Day #3 of my lead-up-to-Halloween Horror Movie Fest.
Watched this classic tonight. One of the few horror films that actually scares me even after I’ve turned it off, it’s such an emotional film too. When Fr. Karras is being given the Last Rights at the end I almost teared up. Not to mention all the stuff about his little Greek mother. I have a little Italian mother who’ll be living on her own when I go travelling.
Reminder that I need to take better care of her (even if she is crazy annoying sometimes).

“When men say that they “love to see the woman underneath the makeup,” they’re not saying they want to see your leg stubble and greasy bangs—they’re saying they want you to be better at hiding your maintenance routine. Because the maintenance spoils the fantasy.”
-Lindy West (via fourstorytantrum)
Every time one of my guy friends says they prefer women without makeup I give them the hardest fucking side-eye. Like, I definitely don’t really mind either way but, I’m pretty sure some of these dudes has scarcely seen a woman without makeup.
And usually when they do see a woman actually not wearing makeup they make jokes at her expense. Yep.

sabalaba asked: OMG I just saw your Eddie Redmayne post! That's so cool! How did you land the gig? I know that you obviously are very talented but like do you have agent?
Thank you! I don’t have an agent but I do have an agency, which is how I got the part. They contacted me a few weeks ago, I registered with them back when I worked on Les Mis in 2012.
